Attorney
David Edwards, a native of South Florida, attended Florida Atlantic University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Attorney Edwards then pursued a dual degree, obtaining both a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration from Florida State University. During his time in law and business school, he also gained valuable experience working at the Florida Attorney General's Office in the Economic Crimes Unit.
Attorney Edwards began his legal career as an associate at The Law Offices of Maria Corvaia O'Donnell, representing the major insurance carriers in Florida. He handled hundreds of insurance claims and litigation cases, honing his craft that he would later utilize as a member of her groundbreaking plaintiff firm, The People's Law Team.
He then transitioned to PIP defense and commercial litigation roles, including a significant tenure at Landau & Associates, P.A., where he was a key member of the "Kill Team," setting standing settlement records. At Reifkind, Thompson & Rudzinski, LLP, Attorney Edwards primarily handled PIP suits, achieving groundbreaking results by conducting comprehensive research, developing innovative litigation strategies, and consistently securing substantial annual attorney's fees. He was also involved in establishing the firm's mass-torts division, contributing to enhanced client engagement and significant financial growth.
